Digital purchase terms

These terms apply to ebooks purchased directly from True Crime America. Purchases made on another retailer’s website are subject to that retailer’s terms.

What your purchase includes

The price is $5.99 USD for a regional ebook and $14.99 USD for each collection volume, including that complete digital book in PDF and EPUB formats. Collections reprint the regional books listed on their product pages and include additional material; check those contents before buying. This is one ebook supplied in two formats, not two different books. No printed book or other physical item is shipped.

This first direct release is intended for U.S. customers. Review the total displayed by PayPal before confirming your purchase. Files become available after payment confirmation.

Downloading and keeping your book

You have 30 days to retrieve the files after they become available. Your order shows the exact deadline. Download both formats and make your own backup during that period.

Files you have saved can be kept permanently for your personal reading. You do not need an ongoing connection to this website to read a saved copy. The retrieval period is not a subscription, and the store does not promise indefinite hosting, redownloads or free future editions.

Personal use

You may keep personal backup copies and use the files on your own compatible devices. Purchasing an ebook does not transfer copyright or permission to redistribute, resell, upload or share the book publicly.

7-day refund requests

You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase through order support. Include your order reference and a short description of the request. Do not send a password or full payment-card details.

Approved refunds return to the original payment method. Processing time depends on PayPal and your payment provider. A refund ends further download access for that order. Please remove your downloaded copies if your purchase is refunded.

If there is a duplicate charge, failed delivery or another unresolved payment problem, contact support even if the 7-day period has passed. These terms do not limit rights you may have under applicable law.

File compatibility and help

You need a device and app that can read PDF or EPUB. App and ereader support varies; see ebook help before buying if you are uncertain. Report a delivery or file problem promptly so it can be reviewed while the order is retrievable.

When a title leaves this store

A book may later stop being sold here. Existing orders keep the retrieval deadline stated at purchase unless a refund or another resolution is arranged. Copies you already saved remain available for personal reading; they are not remotely disabled when sales stop.
